I took my first trip with the CAF this weekend.  We went to Plateau du Kik and had a great time.  The trip consisted of hiking on wide but winding trails through small Berber villages, then eating and sleeping at a warm and friendly refuge at night.  We planned on a second hike on Sunday morning, but the rain sent us home early.  All aspects of the trip were just what I needed after a few months in the busy city.  The best part about the trip was being welcomed into the CAF community.  Everyone involved this weekend made my travel partners and I feel comfortable both hiking and over our couscous dinner.  We will most definitely joining another CAF trip soon!
